Mountain Biking in the woods with a RokPak Pioneer Series

Mountain Biking requires power outdoors

Although many will readily tell you that there are several dangers associated with mountain biking, persons still choose to engage in the sport and the reason for this is evident. For starters, mountain biking can be an exhilarating form of exercise, and with the advent of technology including heart rate trackers and cholesterol monitors to name a few, it can be a great way of engaging in exercise, the effect of which can be monitored. However these types of devices tend to be very draining on the device’s battery. Indeed, the device’s battery can be seriously taxed before even completing the mountain biking trail. To that end, we have designed the RokPak. In a nutshell, the RokPak is an innovative waterproof and drop proof accessory to store your personal items, but it can also prove to be a source of power for your devices.

Mountain biking takes its riders to some remote places, so these features can come in handy

  • LCD shows remaining power
  • Designed to protect devices against external shocks encountered while mountain biking such as falls or drops
  • Built in solar panel which facilitates efficient use of power to recharge to the RokPak, this solar panel also has the benefit of being shatterproof
  • Easy to recharge by merely plugging into the sun, the biker is almost never left without a power source
  • Recharge fast with a micro USB cable in the car on the way to your mountain biking adventure, perfect for remote locations.
  • There is also a 4 function LED flashlight which features a low and high intensity display, one that pulsates as well as the SOS feature if you become injured mountain biking and need to signal for help

Some people going mountain biking fail to adequately prepare for their trail and sometimes find themselves nowhere near their final destination at night. The RokPak is definitely useful in these situations because its built in LED lighting can be used to avert a common danger to bikers, especially at night when the bike does not have reflectors. It is important to note that the RokPak is also designed with a buckle strap, which allows it to be secured to one’s backpack or bike. In the alternative one may use the carabiner to hook it to your backpack or hang it from a tree to work on a blown tire or broken chain.

Should you get into danger, using the RokPak’s light is not the only option. The RokPak Pioneer Series has a 12,000-mAh battery to that end, one’s phone or tablet could be charged to full capacity up to 8 times. Therefore, on the one hand the SOS Beacon can be used to signal nearby persons for help and/or enable you to use your smart devices to share your location and communicate that you are in need of assistance.

Of course, mountain biking is no longer about seeing and enjoying nature with one’s eyes. Rather for many it has become the art of capturing things rarely seen and sometimes not often repeated sights whether on video or on camera. To that end, one’s video and photography devices can, not only be safely housed in the riders RokPak, but also charged to ensure that every beautiful downhill adventure is captured.

The RokPak Pioneer Series is exceptionally designed to be functional but also stylish and trendy. You can actually save one’s life if necessary. Contact us for further details on how to secure your RokPak or to get it as a gift for your mountain biking friends. You will not regret the decision at all!

I’ve wondered about these types – with the batteries built in – as compared to those that have folding sections and can drape over, for example a backpack. The folding ones have more power, but there never seems to be a built in battery on those. I wonder if it’s worth finangling with them.

    Right on

    Good to have I.C.E. gear.

With this being built into the case, the ability not to have it break so easy when dropped is a good item.

this would be great to have on our annual 4 day atv ride into the remote mountains. Could keep your electronics working and be able to call for help or stay in touch which is a problem without a battery backup.

  7. gunner miller says:

As long as it does not break during shaking, this is a keeper as a tool.

Would be good for 4 wheelers and side by side as well

I’ve never been mountain biking but I used to love to ride my 10-speed I used to do a 50 to 70 miles a day when I was young during the summer if I knew how dangerous it was with a few crazies around I would have loved to have a RokPak
